TAKE ME ON THE ROAD

Take me on the road where I can feel my heart breathe

Show me the Love that’s seemingly fine to believe.

Walk with me, through the Streets of time

How did I get here so fast,  I’m still clearing my mind.

Stop the wheels from turning, put my feet on the Earth

Check the Sun on my back, before it’s too damn hot to hold

Step on the track to the river, bathe my soul till I weep

Show me the precious life that I was destined to lead.

Meet me in the eye, tell me I’m not on my own

Life’s got to be great for living, in the skin I was born in

Don’t turn away, no more better than the rest

I’m living a white dream we’re all living in, I want different from this

I want no more lies, no more this is how it’s been,

I want to grow old to say I was here when the Great Change began

I want to be accountable, surviving under the Sun

Not driven by hatred, fear and greed, lost and forsaken

So I’ll give on over, give on over

Give on over,… hear me again **** . . …. I want no more lies,

no more better than the rest

This dream I’m living in, well, I’m now awake to this

So I’ll meet you in the eye, can’t stand the distance anymore

And my shame it’s weak, it’s changing very little at all

So I’ll give on over, give on over

Give on over and start again.
