Heti Hope: Singer Songwriter and Composer writes her songs at the piano or playing the guitar. Pondering deeply on what meets her in life, what comes to her now; from past experiences; what is going on around her and what she hopes for the future, she searchers for concepts to connect beyond our seeming differences, in order to recognise common affirmatives from deep with in each of us, on love and living. She works closely with her husband and musician, Adie Higginson, enjoying the weaving of his musical ideas around her lyrics, as well as his capacity to pick up and elaborate on her sometimes quirky passages and rhythms and Heti loves working with the addition of the full band.

These unique songs battle against being innately Folk derived,  drawing on a wide selection of listened to genre; Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Classical, Contemporary Pop, music that Heti has grown up hearing over decades, from her friend’s and her own choice of music up to the present day and going back to her parents’ musical influences before the 60’s.

Despite being born before screens, the social media and technological Evolution, Heti is hopeful that through recording and performing live, she is finding a world musical portal to share and connect with audiences present in this time.
