DON’T GO THERE. also known as A Cautionary Tale

Old one was hauling evil history, when he ambled in to see

this space out of place, it’s out of time

With a Keeper sucking on souls’ naive nature

eyes with a craving the very worst of it’s kind.

He nodded to the law enticing him to come closer

Keeper said “Here’s a fruity dish Come on in and savour Babe!

this lolly the biggest size of a Railway wheel

rolling like treacle down a slippery slidey hill. ”

Well, It’s easy to follow a scarlet fib facing close up,

the hands that feed you

trusting like only a small child truly wants to

Beguiled by this seeming Wise old apple’s grin

Rosy skin covering half a worm inside

Oh ! he took a bite !.

Well you can’t hide from me now ‘cause I see and I know you

Your tail is longer than your dribbling nose

Pull it in snake before you’re rediscovered

Man I’m giving you a second chance for you to realise

You don’t need to keep this place open

Don’t even put a sale sign on a stand

Burn Keeper’s role in a ritual of fire

Ask for an Angel to take you by the hand

You’ve got to change it all Man,

Change it all

Do the best you can

That’s what were all here for

Be for giving don’t mind the struggle you find

Living a simple life

Working out how to be

A gentle man.
